Written by Caveon | March 10, 2020

Caveon, LLC, the only company completely dedicated to security in testing, has gained another security accolade, certifying in compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.

The Framework, designed to protect transferred personal data for commercial purposes, is endorsed by both the European Union and the U.S. Department of Commerce. It requires a steeper degree of data protection, a strong privacy policy, and compliance with 23 security principles concerning the use of personal data.

Caveon always aims to align with security best practices, and this framework is no exception.

“As a security-oriented company, we understand that Caveon’s customers place a high degree of trust in us when they share important data, and self-certifying under Privacy Shield on an annual basis is one important way to show our customers that we are diligently and thoughtfully working to earn their trust,” said Marc Weinstein, Chief Privacy Officer and Vice President of Caveon Investigative Services.

“Caveon’s status as a self-certifying organization under the Privacy Shield Framework demonstrates our strong commitment to data security and privacy protection, and reflects our understanding of the complex array of regulations that apply to cross-border transfers of personal data.”
