Walt Drane Becomes Caveon’s Director of Education Services

Caveon, LLC announces Walt Drane, Ed.S. as the Director of Education Services.

Midvale, UT – Caveon is pleased to announce Walt Drane, Ed.S. as the new Director of Education Services. “We are excited to have Drane join Caveon’s K-12 assessment team,” said Steve Addicott, Caveon’s Chief Operating Officer. “His years of experience leading the Mississippi Department of Education’s Assessment and Accountability functions will help ensure Caveon can continue to provide a maximum level of impact and test security protection to our state and local education agency clients.”

Mr. Drane is an experienced K-12 large-scale assessment professional with a demonstrated history working in the education management industry. Prior to joining Caveon, Drane served as Executive Director for the Offices of Assessment, and District and School Performance for the Office of Accountability at the Mississippi Department of Education. He also led Mississippi’s Test Security Unit at the Department of Education, where he led multiple large-scale investigations to ensure the validity and reliability of state-wide assessment results.
